Today, Trident announced it would finally show its production-ready car in public next month -- the Trident Icini Grand Tourer, a diesel-powered machine that should hit 200 mph while returning 69 mpg on a variety of fuels. It could be fantastic -- if it's for real.

I suspect this was a show car only as there are a lot of things on this that didn't show in production. The door handles are from the 300SL, the roof has a cool overhang and a curved rear window, plus, is the roof lower? The wheels look different but I cannot put my finger on it, not just the white walls. The doors are cut down, very similar to the 190SLR.
