VW Golf GTI has a Cd of 0.35 - 0.36

it will be worse with fat tires

the Cd is not bad for that era, so don't let small sharp edges fool you

Well, it still looks like a Datsun, but there is a Miata undercarriage and running gear under it. Hardly seems fair going after a C5 with a trick piece of gear like that.

Joe Bob,

I'm guessing you are asking about the "Golf" with the 928 running gear.

If I recall correctly, it involved grafting the side panels of a Golf onto a 928 chassis (note the interior in another post) and reworking the hood, rear deck and windscreens.
