I believe he said it was a 64. he paid $2000 for it. it's in pretty good shape for sitting in a field for many years. he bought it yesterday and probably will get it running it sometime today.

This race had an impact on me. Spent the weekend sitting atop a motorhome at the hairpin mostly drinking warm bee rand laughing at some slowpoke on the track diving an old Subaru. Laughing until I realized I was the idiot on the sidelines making fun of a guy who was actually racing.
I figured then it was best to be "last on the grid rather than in the first row of the stands!"
