The Navy used DC-6s (C-118s, R6D) into the early 1980s. They would roar up the bay from NAS Alameda and turn east and pass over my house. Great sound.

Taking a mini vacation and walked out from our hotel yesterday to find the city arborist looking at the rear of our rental. Needless to say, we lost a day on our trip getting this straightened out.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Things happen but it was frustrating since Enterprise Rental that was literally a two minute walk away refused to assist in getting another car. We were forced to either tow or drive it to John Wayne Airport to replace it. Moral to the story: don't use Enterprise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You drive into the guy wires holding the power pole. The wires don't give. If you have enough velocity, the vehicle stands up. If you're centered, it doesn't roll off to the side.

Please forgive a newb:
Are the front forks on backwards? Nice self-centering, but it looks like you're in pothole NY and there is about 4" of travel before the front-end literally become a catapult mechanism.

Nope its how it should be. I do have to trim up the fork bolt as high as possible so the tire doesnt rub but the spring is stiff enough to keep it under control. Theres more than one way to build a fork maybe youre just not usto seeing them this way.
Random..
