Funny you mentioned the plate frame. We talked about that this AM. All barcode stickers pulled and secured for turn in. After haveing a rental broken into on a previous visit, thought we would try different tactics. Thanks for the heads up on rubber bumper dealio. Those little buggers are coming off as soon as I get to my dive tool kit. Pic to follow a little later

I should have known you were on Maui because of the L plates. Maui plates will start with an M or L. Kauai with a K, Hawaii Island with an H, and Oahu everything else. If you should meet a dive instructor with the name of Rani or Lexi, tell her I said Hi. Japanese Korean mix late forties about 5'4" tall.

There are some good dive sites off of Lanai, it's a bit of a boat ride, nice if calmish.

Also some good snorkeling at Oluwalu, between Lahaina. And Maalaea Hbr

Sunrise on Haleakala can be spectacular. Its chilly but beautifull

Now I can't help but check out the sequence numbers. Rubber bumpers removed and a plate frame on the back. I know it doesn't really matter and there is no silver camouflage bullet,just looking to get passed over while parked at a dive site. Bottom line, follow the list of "don'ts" while in a rental.

No idea who she works for. She goes between Honolulu and Maui taking tours. Has a condo here and a house in Maui. She's an ex that calls me every so often to go out. I stay away from that as she's got the crazy eyes.
