We picked this up today. Buddy got it for $1000. Had 25 years of dirt on it. True barn find with 6000 miles. Interior is gross .

Cool
The TR-6 was my dream car growing up. A customer on my paper route had one. Even with gross interior, a very cool find.

Took out the spark plugs, sprayed in some PB blaster and the motor spun without too much effort. Sprayed more PB and put the plugs back in to soak. The gas tank looks terrible inside and we have no keys. We will drop the fuel line in a gas can and get it cranking next weekend , its going to be warm I think. We had fun just cleaning and tinkering today.

That is freaking awesome!!! To find "that" and able to turn it, fantastic. Best of luck and please keep us updated. Really digging the original white too.

Just a file photo but the British racing green with cork interior is also dead sexy. Bottom line, it represents an era that I like.

An attorney buddy found one in a local field up to its floorboards in muck. Needless to say there was some rust issues he had to work around.

The BRG is classic for these cars. The white on this car could pass for 4 years old instead of 45 and we have not pollished it yet. Too bad the top was down and the interior is garbage. Driver floor pan is thin too, it was out in the weather at some point. Under the hood is not bad. This car could be great for minimal $$$$.

At some point in the journey, you will have to tell us how your buddy found this little gem and the conversation that led to its new home. Always neat to hear about car rescues.

Inquiring minds want to know... kinda like our story how we ended up with our second 68 912 after stumbling into it in conversation.

Looking forward to any updates.

I'd like to hear that story sometime. Not much of a story here. It was on Craigs list for $1500. The owner was a horder. When he passed away, his stepson inheirited a mess of things including the TR6.

After close to 150 years of riding the nations railway system the "Greatest Show on Earth" circus trains will stop touring and the circus will be no more. Here is the Red Train in St. Louis a number of years ago.
