Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

Ok, ok, I should have warned you of an upcoming "nerd alert"  .I do have a set of D.O.T. SS flexible brake likes but nobody here at the house this weekend to held properly bleed the system. I am hoping that they will eliminate some rubber brake line swelling and increase responsiveness. No matter what I do, it won't make them crazy responsive like a buddies new GT500 mustang. I dang near cut myself in half with the steering wheel the first time I applied the brakes when I took it out for a spin, and I was only doing 10 mph leaving the parking lot.  Fresh high temp paint  Freshly turned by a local machine shop  Waiting for new adjusters to show up.  Now I just need to remember how to re-assemble. Good thing I left the other side intact. Had a washer pop out from an unknown location........great! At least the truck looked like it belonged on a back street of Stockton.....   Giving these a try this time with the hopes it will help dissipate heat buildup on the hills of HWY-49. Just one bad trip can smoke the best of brakes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
