RLMAO!!!!! Oh you bet I ckecked into it, 95 GMC K1500 stock brakes suck cheese. New equipment would cost more that the truck is worth, especially one with 312K......but I've"really" gave it some thought. To quote Igor in Van Helsing,! "It's what I do". Ok, ok, I should have warned you of an upcoming "nerd alert" .I do have a set of D.O.T. SS flexible brake likes but nobody here at the house this weekend to held properly bleed the system. I am hoping that they will eliminate some rubber brake line swelling and increase responsiveness. No matter what I do, it won't make them crazy responsive like a buddies new GT500 mustang. I dang near cut myself in half with the steering wheel the first time I applied the brakes when I took it out for a spin, and I was only doing 10 mph leaving the parking lot. ![]() Fresh high temp paint ![]() Freshly turned by a local machine shop ![]() Waiting for new adjusters to show up. ![]() Now I just need to remember how to re-assemble. Good thing I left the other side intact. Had a washer pop out from an unknown location........great! At least the truck looked like it belonged on a back street of Stockton..... ![]() ![]() Giving these a try this time with the hopes it will help dissipate heat buildup on the hills of HWY-49. Just one bad trip can smoke the best of brakes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Beech T-34. Used by the USAF and USN. The Navy used a Turbine model.

It was a military trainer in its day. It's a T-34 Mentor, the similar type as Julie Clark's who lives at the Cameron Park Airport. ![]() ![]() Retired Airline Captain and a really all around nice person.
