Goodguys car show at Del Mar Fairgrounds
Went to the car show yesterday. They advertised 2,500 cars, & it certainly seemed like it. Only one Porsche, which may have been a kit. Had a rhinestone finish & wasn't worth a picture. Here are a few of the ones I found different/interesting. I had to downsize my pics, which were all over 5mb. It was car overload. One of the highlights for me was when they started and ran the display of '60s slingshot dragsters with blowers & hemis. Great sounds.

Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

I don't know if those were 'spin-proof' like the ones without rudder pedals. |

Looks like a Polaris Slingshot with added bodywork. Possibly to make it street legal in that state.

Good call Brian, looks a bit like a Lego batmobile. Interesting color choice.

POS?
I like most of GM's European transplants. Is there a Cadillac even offered which isn't based on one of them? I watched the film "Armored" (2009?) last night, they had a top/aerial view of a gold Buick-Riviera similar to below, which was a rather esoteric moment or pause in the plot which built up to a violent end. Thankfully the car was not part of the explosive ending. https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/1973-Buick-Riviera-Pictures-c8426 ![]() From the film: http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_275474-Buick-Riviera-1972.html ![]()
