Luckiest Wreck Ever?

Photochop? Wouldn't bother me...

Look at the picture above and you can see where this guy broke through the guardrail, right side where the people are standing on the road (pointing). The pick-up was traveling from right to left when it crashed through the guardrail. It flipped end-over-end, across the culvert outlet, and landed right side up on the left side of the culvert, facing the opposite direction from which he was traveling.

Now look at the picture below....

Lucky doesn't begin to describe that driver. He doesn't need to worry about buying a lotto ticket, he already won

I'm having trouble imagining the path the truck took getting to its location in the photo. Must've been been a wild ride.

flashgordon13 02-14-2008 04:15 PM

If that crash didn't kill me, the heart attack would as soon as I looked over the edge of that cliff!!!

Komenda Fan 02-14-2008 04:29 PM

Yeah, I guess that's lucky, but I still think this Audi driver was the real lucky guy...

Wow! Those are amazing.

Here a picture of the '89 Mustang GT my wife wreaked. Happened years ago. She escaped with three broken fingernails...

Three broken fingernails? I just broke two fingernails yesterday while opening a cardboard box! I have to say, though, it hurt like the dickens.

Hugh R 02-14-2008 09:09 PM

Uh, that's one Audi right? Capt. your wife was very lucky, that's amazing.

Noah930 02-15-2008 09:38 AM

Wow, both your wife and that Audi driver are very lucky. Things that impressed me about the Audi crash (besides the survival of the driver): 1) There are a lot of wires in that thing; 2) Notice how the tree looks unscathed.

Yeah. It's a shame we can't drive trees isn't it? :)

Well, there is that guy/nerd who built the McLaren F1 replica out of matchsticks:

If they were really lucky there wouldn't have been an accident. :D
