For a second there I thought it was a factory GT2 racecar. That would be interesting.

I see it's a GT3 RSR in the GT2 class.

Just curious, would that car be raced stock right out of the box in ALMS or would it be modified further by the various teams.

Yes me also. I'm curious as to why they weren't available for the boys in the GT class at Daytona. After all they got whooped by a Mazda.

Mark,

The GrandAm folks dont allow the RSR like in ALMS. And that mazda is a little different from the Porsche.

The first time I saw this I was hoping this was the race version of the GT2 (for GT1, confusing), that would be something to see.

Thanks Jay. The GT2 will be really interesting this year with Corvettes, a Ford GT, M3,'s, and a Viper thrown in. Looking forward to it.

But other than the Lizards who will be running Porsches in the ALMS?
I just looked at the ALMS web site, Rahal is switching to BMW, Tafel I believe is switching to Ferrari.

So unless we can get our finances together looks like Porsche may be at a disadvantage.
