Saw the New Excellence Magazine Today.

While at Borders Books I saw the new Excellence Magazine. This paticular issue has an article on an absolutely beautiful Silver 1972 911T, that was speced out to a 72 S.... It seems it is owned by a Porsche guy in Portland, OR by the name of Jeff Smith. At least the fakir is now calling a "T" a "T" and not an "S."

I read he sold it shortly after the photo shoot and before the issue came out.

I was wondering if that was the same car. It has been said that the re-badging was VIN deep. I wonder if that was changed back?

Yep...he went back to "T" VIN tags after "somebody" blew the whistle. At first he tried to deny-deny-deny...but the whistle blower had proof, began snail mailing it all over the World to selected individuals...
Anybody want to see a pic taken when it was supposedly an "S"? Do a search under random pics thread...I posted it before the magazine came out.
