A former commercial pilot and owner of Fort Pierce-based Thriller Powerboats Inc., Gemino is dropping two fighter jet engines into his company's high-speed catamaran, creating an extreme machine with 25,000 horsepower.

"When those afterburners kick in, you're going to get rid of all the wrinkles on your face," he said.
He is not looking to break speed records but to intrigue onlookers. The Thriller F-4 Phantom II Jet Boat is going on a national tour to raise money for war veterans.
