I suspect there are several alterations in the true lines of the car present on that mule. For one thing, why would they abandon the distinctive trademark 'loop' at the end of the greenhouse?
You can see the rear quarter panel coverings standing proud of the tail lights, and the inserts over the front lights. I think (and hope) the real thing will look much better. Sounds good, tho. |
I have no idea who would want a 4 door Porsche, it looks ugly. Why not just go out and buy a Bentely.
|
That is either a really smart stalker, or Porsche blew their advertising budget on the R&D for.... something.

The Blue-Whale.:D
Do you think they could offer it in two roof guises? Like the 280 zx 2+2? http://www.datsunrestore.com/datsun_gallery.html http://www.datsunrestore.com/Gallery/JoAnn1.jpg http://www.datsunrestore.com/Gallery/MVC-616F.JPG It just now hit me..............what do you think? Zoom in on the pictures, you can see where the real roof line should be. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1203092200.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1203092224.jpg |
Sorry, but IMO that thing is REALLY ugly! I would never own one and will laugh at them when I see 'em on the road. Also, if someone owns one of these and waves at me I probably won't wave back. That video was hard to watch. I lost interest in less then 30sec. What an embarrassment.....

*SIGH*
Everyone seems to rip on new Porsches when they see them online....then they see them in person and start planning how to sell their first born to get one. :) Remember how people ripped on the Cayman? I'm betting this puppy will look fantastic when it comes out. |
You guys are nuts. Just watched the video. That car is PHATT A$$. They are going to sell gobs of them.
|
I've always liked the Boxsters and Cayman's but haven't been a big fan of the Cayenne. Even though it's (Cayenne) not that bad. But this is HORRIBLE! Those other models were 'I just have to see it in person' when they were 'on-line'. This I don't want to see in person. Looks like something Chrysler would come out with.

opinions are like you know whats, but I do not "get" that styling...not at all really....porsche styling gets the vast majority of thier cars "right", but that isn't it "right" at all...that isn't a cheap car, and there will be a lot of competition in that produt segment....performance may be there, but looks didn't make it....unfortunately blunder on styling really....the competition is probably relieved.

a 4 door 911, sorry not a fan.
dumb idea, somedays I'm glad I'm old. |
Does the lack of head and leg room hurt this Bentley GT the same way it would the Panamera?
http://www.germancarblog.com/labels/Bentley.html http://images.automobilemag.com/mult...T_speed+07.jpg Sales, profit and Porsche.............not going to seperate any of them, just the way it is. |
A Porsche for the family that doesn't want a rebadged Touareg.
|
ugly as a monkey's a$$
didn't hear any sounds coming from it that would make me smile - :( |
I hate to admit it but I am disappointed. Perhaps the 911/Cayman shape does not lend itself very well to a four door design. Looks almost like a ...gasp!..kit car.
|
Look like an ug** 996 with 4 doors...!
