Vista - DRM

Has anyone here encountered the DRM police built into Vista?

What is your actual experience?

The pundits were predicting that made-for-Vista hardware wouldn't really work well because of the "tilt bits". I'm curious how reality squares with the predictions.

Anyone? Bueller?

I was under the impression that the hard-core DRM stuff was turned off because it wasn't ready for prime time.

That makes sense, considering the lack of complaints on the subject.

Does Microsoft reserve the right to turn on DRM whenever it feels like it?

I wouldn't be surprised if that was in the EULA. Seriously.

The DRM stuff was all hyped up anyway. It wouldn't affect but a tiny percentage of users, a tiny percentage of the time . It won't stop you from playing pirated DVDs, music, games, anything. I did the aforementioned, and installed pirated software. No DRM issues.

DRM was half-implemented in the 32 bit version, 64 has it lock stock and barrel.
