Prohibition doesn't work, be it Hersheys or Heroin

That it is forbidden makes it that much sweeter!

mmmmmmmm, sacrilicious!

maybe not now, but he very well may in the future. I think the school has taught an invaluable lesson of supply and demand. The candy pushers will be the future business leaders.

Nothing new. 25 years ago a couple of friends of mine and myself woudl go to a candy store, stock up on bubble gum and candy and resell in school for profit. We did pretty good. It allowed me to save every penny from my paper route money towards a car and have mad money from my candy sales.

AH ha! I rest my case ;)

Same as it ever was...too true.

Candy smuggler today, Freeway Ricky Ross tomorrow.

onewhippedpuppy 03-24-2008 01:08 PM

Entrepreneurs of tomorrow!

Maybe instead of banning candy, they should extend PE. Oh yeah, and place blame where it really lies: the parents. Because the school isn't the reason most kids spend their afternoons and evenings in front of a TV, computer, or X-Box. I've never known a kid that plays many sports to be fat.

Something about that, make money by smuggling in banned substances, may not be the best lesson.
