Mid-Century Chic

I just pulled this pair of Barovier and Toso lamps outa the box after nearly 5 years. They retain their mid-century Barovier paper tags. I bought these about 8 years ago at an Abels Auctions Thursday sale. They had the orginal cloth wrapped electrical cord dating them to the mid to late 1940's. I had them rewired for safety. Today a pair of mid 40's Barvoier lamps cost a small fortune. Sometimes I amaze myself that I am such a man of wealth and taste.

I had to re-read your description to figure out that they were mid-20th Century. Could've fooled me.

This is my idea of mid-century chic... :)http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1207102587.jpg
