ICN reunion
 

What a strange day. We went to the ICN reunion at the hospital were our sons where born yesterday. I saw a lot of the children that I had seen in the hospital and some of them have really made great progress.

My wife and I also where able to see a lot of the doctors and nurses that took such great care of us, and yes I mean us. The doctors and nurse probably spend more time talking, explaining, reassuring, and consoling the parents than they do taking care of the babies.

We really did not know what to expect when we got there, but where really excited to see the progress that most of the children have made. One of the children was a twin like my son and lost his brother. He lost most of his sight, but is doing well otherwise.

Here is a pic. of my son on his B-day, he was born 10 weeks early.

That's a beautiful pic Peppy! I'm sure that brought back mixed emotions for you as I recall when you first posted your heartbreaking story. Easy to spot the "silver lining" in this one :)
