Posting Photos

I used to be able to post photos in response to someone's thread with some ease and alacrity. Has something changed on this BBS in the last couple of months to make posting pix more difficult?
Or has geezerhood triumphed?

Thanks for your thoughts!

Tom

I haven't been able to either and no one can explain it. Even the pop-up window won't stay up. I gave up and post them in Photobucket.

Seems to work, have you upgraded/changed any applications on your PC?

Needless to say that I find no problems when I post pics.

Guys - I have no trouble posting photos to a new thread that I have started. The process is very different than posting a photo in response to another's thread. I'll keep at it, hoping for an epiphany.

Maybe it's cause you use words like "alacrity" and Epiphany?:p

Doesn't work either way for me. I thought it might be NAV, but I've turned it off. I thought it might be IE, but I've turned off all of the popup stuff and it still doesn't work. It started after the software changed on the BBS.

I think I've got it! When I posted by using "Quick Reply" I could not post a pic, because I don't know how to use the URL stuff.

When I click on Post Reply button, and then go to "Click here to Upload a Photo" I have not trouble at all.

I started posting on this BBS and blogging (on my own blog: Mossguy's Garage) in an effort to exercise my remaining brain cells. Sometimes the effort pays off and sometimes it doesn't. I'm finding that if I don't use some skills and thought processes every day or so, that I lose them, at least temporarily.

Thanks for reading my ramblings!

Well, now that it's working, that's a great pic to test drive it..

Craigster59: Words like "alacrity" and "epiphany" come to me so seldom anymore that I feel obliged to use them immediately! See previous post re "Brain Cell Exercise"
