Lipstick camera
 
I want a camera to record track days and autocrosses, but I would also like to take it mountain biking. Does anything affordable exist?

Plenty. Check E-bay. There are many under $50. Look for a 12v model. That can run off your car battery, or a small gel-cell that can be carried in your bike's water-bottle holder.
