Lucy's Poop Light
 

A friend of mine named Lucy is going to build and sell lighted dog leashes.

Basically, the leash will combine an LED flashlight that is essentially one of those "shake" lights, and as you walk with the dog on the leash, the movement of your arms will charge a capacitor and power the light.

So that you can see what you need to see after the dog does its's business...:p

Anyway...she needs an amusing name for it...

Hey, this is supposed to cost money.... :D

Tell her to think of every word that describes the product, humorous or not. Put all of the words in 2 opposing vertical columns and start connecting. Two syllables is preferable for the combined name. For instance using only yours words:

poop light
light poop
business leash
leash business

From this you can go from poop business to leash light. :)

Frankly, I think the product has more potential as a night time safety device like a bike light, or something people can see between the walker and the dog. Then, secondarily as a task light.

Somebody stop me!

My dog aint as a brilliant as a poop light, but I do have him trained to dump before he gets the leash. He knows we aren't leaving until he either shows me a fresh dump in the yard or makes a new one. I'm not good at handling warm excrement so this is the first thing he had to learn. :)

Why not just feed the dog glow in the dark food?

At home I can pick it up with a small gardening shovel. I do carry a baggy for emergencies during our twice daily walks. I don't like seeing dog crap on my front yard from other dogs and don't want him to leave a pile on someone else's yard or in the park.

Hence, other than a few small hiccups, my dog is trained to poop on commmand. Actually, the routine has become so common, when he see's me grabbing the leash at 7pm, you can hear the doggy-door go "click" and he's in the backyard leaving me a present. :D

When I come to your house and take a dump in your front yard, we'll see how you feel then.:p One of our neighbors likes to let her Lab crap in our yard, always when I'm not around. I'm contemplating returning the favor. I hear jail is nice.
