Potato Skins

After working from 7:30 am to 8:30pm with a two hour drive on each end...

I like a little snack with 'some fingers' of Maker's on ice!

They look good, that's for sure, but I thought you were trying to lose weight?

M.D. Holloway 05-28-2008 10:25 AM

Smoked Salmon - I could (and have) eated pounds of the stuff at a sitting!

IROC 05-28-2008 10:26 AM

Fritos right out of the bag and a Miller Lite or 7.

Joeaksa 05-28-2008 10:30 AM

Damm that does look good!

Tobra 05-28-2008 10:32 AM

I like pie myself, not so much to eat with my hands. Those look tasty, or twice baked, scoop 'em out like that, mash what you scoop out with cheese, bacon etc, put filling in the shell you have, put 'em back in oven for a bit.

Yeah man, a big schooner full of sour cream is not really what you are after if you are looking to lose weight. How about baby carrots or something for a snack, or grapes maybe.

I just put on two pounds looking at the picture ;)

No kidding, for weight addition, that dish has it all! Fat, calories and carbs, and lots of each!

(Does look tasty, though).

Had to have them!

It's light sour cream and only one spoonful!

My nephew is here and he always ruins my diet...

About once a month I bake a potato, fix it with all the trimmings, eat it and then make skins for a second helping. I don't eat much the next day!

BRPORSCHE 05-28-2008 12:29 PM

Gosh that looks good.

Palum6o 05-28-2008 12:46 PM

If its shiny, don't eat it.

126coupe 05-28-2008 03:40 PM

just had lunch. Family sitting next to us were from 100-200 pounds overweight each.
They were scarfing on skins, fries, onion rings and bacon cheese burgers. The 10 year old son was maybe 100 pounds over weight. The father, 200 pounds overweight.
I over heard the father say to his 10 year old son "you dont have to worry about weight for another 10 years" WTF:eek:

Tobra 05-28-2008 04:11 PM

That is how they get morbidly obese, they learn it from their parents
