found out today a retired coworkers wife died
Around noon today I received an email from a coworker that a retired friend of ours wife had passed away this past Saturday.
The man and his wife retired aprox. a year and a half ago. Right before retiring they found out she had cancer. She went thru a regiment of cancer treatment and we all thought she had beat it. This poor man has lost a son at age 27 and a daughter at age 30 and now his wife of 35+ years. He was a close friend at work and we carried on email discussions as he was a gentleman racer of Porsches in the 60' and 70's. I sent him a heartfelt email when I got home from work today but I'm really bummed over this. I know with time I'll feel better and eventually so will he but right now it hurts. Good luck Tom and happy trails Linda.
