I wear scrubs to work. Not much in the way of pockets, if I do carry something it feels as if the pants are about to go aloha. A manpurse doesn't look nearly as ghey as having your pants around your ankles. I've got a soft sided leather carry bag. I don't think it has much of ghey factor. YMMV.

I carry something like that from time to time, especially when overseas and have too much crap to carry. Also have a Lands End fabric style small briefcase that does the same thing but like the leather one from overseas a lot better.

Could give a crap what others think about it. No one has had the balls to say anything to my face about it yet...

I am down to a *max* of three keys - car, house, office. That is it. Everything else that needs a lock is combination. The trigger lock keys are kept elsewhere and I don't carry them.

I tossed most of the crap out of my wallet, and only carry minimal cards. iPhone is in a case with a belt clip and it usually is on my front pocket to the side. That is all I carry.

If I'm on the bicycle I'll use a fanny pack to carry extra clothes, etc. If I'm on the motorcycle I've got a tail bag and when I get off wallet/phone/keys either go in pants or jacket pockets. If I need to carry more stuff (ie laptop) then it is either a backpack or Waterfield Designs bag.

But for just walking around? No man purses. It either fits in the pocket or stays home. Or rises to the occasion of a backpack. No middle ground.

I'm tempted to order one these for "all those things I need on a day to day basis" but don't have enough room in my pockets(laptop,charger, general tools, etc)

I gotta agree. Theose manbag things just scream, "Beat me up and take my lunch money".

Like most men (I think) I carry a wristwatch, pocket knife, wallet and minimal keys...its all you really need. No fob on the keys,....just like I don't carry a plastic thing with pictures of my kids or a giant gold daisy like women all seem to.

On a trip, carry a backpack with your crap. How much MORE schit do you need anyway? Ok, a notebook pc or a paper notebook (small), your passport, maybe an iPod. Thats it. If you need more why not just wheel around one of those small suitcases and, be done with it:rolleyes:

I use a similar one by Cole Haan. Not on weekends or social activities or anything--just for work and travel. People think I'm ghey anyway so it's all good with me. ;)

I'd just like something to protect the laptop on the way to work and a general laptop bag is WAY too big for it since it's only the size of hardback book. The bailout bag is a perfect size.

If you need to carry something, a backpack or a briefcase, or laptop 'over the shoulder' thing works.

A petite little man-purse --- not so much. Unless you're into the whole metro-sexual schene. (You don't listen to KC and the Sunshine Band, do ya?!)

Maybe check out camera bags? At least then folks would think you're a photographer...:rolleyes:
