Just coincidence that the boy's elementary school culmination coincided with the end of the 10-day waiting period. Walther p22, the boy reading the manual and learning the weapon. CCI mini mags are on the way for the first session soon.

I got one of those for the wife to cut down on ammo costs and make her feel included when I want to hone the chops with the adult guns.

he's been firing a Ruger 5" revolver at the range and I have to admit that it is fun to plink with a .22. And a hell of a lot cheaper than the 9mm.

What are you running through the Walther? I've heard varying reports of how picky it is, but the consensus seems to be to at least break it in with CCI Mini Mag or other fairly hot round.

I just buy a 500 pack of whatever's cheapest at Wal-Mart. I think it's Remington. I don't recall any FTF's. She was such a terrible shot that I figured it'd be cheaper to get her a P-22 than to watch her waste the exponentially more expensive .45ACP and .357SIG in my guns. We went shooting in Vegas with Jordi last month and he showed her something that really turned her shooting around (I was shooting my M4 and not watching them) and she is probably gonna turn into a shooter now.

Better yet, she got her green card in the mail yesterday and I told her she's now legally able to buy me guns for presents!
