Are you going to enclose the shower with some glass or go all Europe on us?
Looks real nice.

Trekkor looks awesome. We pondered covering all the walls with tile (too poor for granite) and decided not to but now I am second guessing.
I am in the middle of a bathroom remodel, a good friend did the tile work, its what he does. We still have lots of work to do but here is the tile. We are going with a glass shower enclosure. ![]()

Jim, I like the design and work, BUT...
That wooden curb top is going to be a problem. You'd better change that. It will leak and destroy your project in no time. Sorry about that. How's your eye? Did they let you look at the 'Amsler chart'. KT

You guys amaze me. Cindy is in the process of looking at kitchen remodel things.
Fine by me, she's hated the current cabinets and countertops for decades. BUT...The day the first contractor truck arrives is the day I'm pulling out on a road trip...cue case and bags packed. She can call me when it's done.

We did a job for two different clients with two very different outcomes. Each were total gut remodels. When I get on the job it's been sometime as I'm one of the last to arrive. #1. Bought another house and moved out. They came for inspections and progress regularly. Happy people. Everything worked out well for them. When it was done they sold the little house and made money on it. #2. Not so good. They tried to live in the house during work. By around the second month in they were going NUTS because they were waking up covered in dust evey morning. Planning is everything. KT

KT - That is a travertine sill. My buddy is an East coast version of you, does lots of really high end work and specializes in marble and granite. He is pricey but the best.
You do amazing work I wish my bud would have suggested turning the shower floor like that its a really nice affect.

KT - looks great! I would very much like to poop and scrub in a room that looked like that.

Thanks! ![]() That reminds me of a comic I saw in a tile showroom. The customer is complaining to the contractor that the marble tiles don't match. "Take it up with the manufacturer" says the contractor! KT
