Is Michael Ballack the Bill Laimbeer of European football? Seems to me the guy plays a bit dirty, then does a lot of weaseling to the referee afterward.

Also, some of those boys are BIG. Most of them look like they're over 6ft. (2m) and spent time in the gym. I always thought of soccer players as being on the small size.

Anyway, great stuff! :)

Diego Maradona is the best ever, IMHO, and he is 5'5". I'm a full 2 inches taller than Maradona and I always used my size to advantage against the bigger, slower players.

Why was the game here on ABC broadcast in Spanish? Some of us gringos like soccer, too.
