All IMHO.

Yeah. I'm wondering who Obama will be good for come November. It seems the "smart" money is shuddering a bit at the idea of he receiving the presidency. Because I'm here in La La land, I see a lot of people he considers high income earners who are barely making it. His philosophies might probably leave them homeless.

You have to hit rock bottom before you can start to climb up again.

We'll get to that bottom, with either candidate. Either candidate is faced with a huge mess in the US right now, that isn't going to get any better over the next 4 years, esp. with the current "Worst Ever Congress" in place.

Therefore, IMO, the next president will be a one-termer.

Obama, with his tax rate dreams, etc., will take us to the bottom quicker. And maybe that's not a bad thing - get it over quicker, hit rock bottom and start to rebuild.

Reid/Pelosi have been given control, with results which were completely predictable. Obama/Reid/Pelosi is the capper. It may not be painless, but at least it will be (relatively) quick.

I'm inclined to agree...let the pendulum swing, and then return back to the middle "where it belongs".

It is sorta of like letting a junkie or drunk hit rock bottom, maybe we need complete Democrat control to wake us up.
