and to boot, those are the same yutzes that did this only about a year ago with the original. interesting how one can dedicate a large chunk of disposable income (appr $1200 total, I would guess) for a device that will be intentionally obsolete in less than a year anyway. I'll pass on the apple-gimmick bandwagon, and stuff the money into my retirement account, thank you very much

I'd like to buy an Ipod, but the problem I'm having is that I *know* that a month after I buy one, it'll be smaller, cheaper, and hold more. So why buy one now?

Same deal with the Iphone. There's no way I'm going to pay what, $70/mo on top of the $200 phone. My $75 phone is plenty for me. It even plays music and has GPS!

The luddite is strong in this thread.
