Someone found this and posted it on the Mulholland thread a month or two back. Very cool to see this footage (and a 250 GTO!) on the road we hold so dear. A very different time, indeed.

Ha ha. I swear, I think of that line all the time when driving or watching stuff like this. When I got to drive a buddy's 512BB, I was singing that song and still couldn't hear myself over the 12 cyl. symphony behind me. It's on my driving tunes CD.

Neil Peart is a well known libertarian and devotee of Ayn Rand. He writes most of their lyrics. He's written some interesting books too. I read one about him cycling through west Africa. Interesting stuff.
