Me, too...Condi, while I admire her, has the charisma of a HS English teacher. The Republican base will always vote for McCain...energize the enemy, show ability to reach across the aisle. She could morph into a rep in a second since there is very little difference now.

She'd do it because McCain may not make the first four years

Condi is ill suited for the job she currently holds, but being a Veep doesn't require a rocket surgeon. Well, unless your the puppet master of Bush the lesser.

A quality female Veep, preferably one with Governor experience is the best bet for success, IMO.

It would be interesting if McCain chose IndyDemoPublican Joe Lieberman. It would add a little more conservativism to the ticket.

And it would guarantee that conservatives stay home on election day. If McCain does this, then there will be no question that he wants Obama to win.
