John Walker KicksAss!

widely known as one of the greats on the Technical forum who helps a lot more than anyone could repay him, likewise John responded to my post here about a store that turns out to be close to him.

Got a call from John today that he has a check in hand after a brief visit with the store owner, who apparently had a great rack, so a small reward in that alone.

thank you John! Please send me sizes (tops and bottoms) and I'll put together a package for you.

John is good people. I was an absolute goofball newbie when I got my 82 SC, and I went to his shop with some plum stupid ideas in my head. Ideas that would have cost me big money had John not been an honest guy and done only what needed to be done.

Of course there was the time I asked him to install carrera chain tensioners.....on a car that ALREADY HAD THEM......

Hmmm... the owner has a great rack, eh? It's all starting to make sense now. When Supe and I were there the other day, John told us they were "closed today..." and that he would go back the next day. Methinks he may have already scoped it out, and was keeping his miscreant friends outa there...

John has helped me with my car numerous times, simply one of the great people here...

OK, so John seriously walked in and did a collections on this place? That's fantastic:D

This thread is worthless without pics of said rack.

John Walker - Collections & Porsche Repair

Gotta love it. But his very sage advice has helped me on many occasions as I fumble around.

I have a dead beat tenent in Dana Point Ca. that owes me $8,900.00. I know where he is. If anyone wants to collect for me I will give them 20% or strut braces, cup holders, cooler scoops for their Porsche.

Is your dead beat tenant in Dana Pt. Beygon? He lives there.

No he is not a Porsche owner, maybe I should have rented to a Porsche owner and I wouldn't be in this pickel. If it had been a Porsche owner maybe the 3 tons of junk I had hauled to the dump after I had him kicked out might have contained some porsche parts worth some money at least. Out of the 3 tons of junk I salvaged 1 thing {sounds like the jerk with his ashtray} A brand new spice/coffee grinder. When I brought it home my wife didn't appreciate my find and in the trash it went, said she didn't need a $8900.00 coffee grinder. She failed to see the humor in it.
