Me too, probably once a week. If I'm forced to eat any other fast food, it's either a salad or grilled chicken, that's it. Haven't had a fast food burger in several years.

Ooba Toobas (mexican) is hands down the king. To bad it's only local, it should be shared with the world.
Small Fries in Fall City WA is sinfully good as well.

I will hit Taco Del Mar on occasion for their burritos.

For burgers, it's pretty hard to beat Dick's Drive-In in Seattle.

Here, I have to settle for Sonic or In-n-Out.

A slice or two at a good pizzeria. Maybe a fountain coke or a cappachino.

Pre-dates "fast food" by a generation. Much better, much better for you and a great deal.

That's pretty funny. We have 4 or 5 Popeyes in Wichita, but they're all in pretty shady areas of town. Probably why I've never tried it.

The only real gut-busting fast food I eat is Taco Bell. I can't believe we have so many Subway fans here, that place gives me the runs every time I eat there. We have Mr. Goodcents and Planet Sub, two KS chains that blow Subway out of the water for fresh deli sandwiches. I'll also take Quiznos or Schlotzkys over Subway any day.

Just about every grocery store and deli I've ever been to sells cow tongue. I don't care for it, but it's not like eating dogmeat thinking it's a roast beef.

tongue??

- millions of Mexicans & Jews love it, not to mention most of Louisiana (in various forms)

try it unbiased and see!

and to the poster way above - fast food doesn't _have_ to high fat or low in nutrition; many Asian places have startups that are just fine; much less the inevitable tofu burgers

This book is helpful with making nutritious (or less unhealthy) choices when eating at many fast food and chain restaurants.
