Why Not Let PPOT Pick Me Some Stocks
We have the other thread where some members did some imaginary stock picks, but how about you make some picks and I will actually purchase them. Just a couple of rules.
1. As I am using real money, how about you only make serious picks. 2. I am going to limit this experiment to $1000 so I am just looking at stocks under $15 to maximize return. Right off I am looking at Ford (trading around $5.00), but hope you guys can pick out some winners! |
This will be interesting to see.

I prefer tan ones, they go well with khakis.

You should start a google group so you can track the stocks through a shared Excel ss.

high speed trains, and companies that supply them
buy now, they will start to boom i've predicted this years ago today, the first news article of relevance came to the news, KLM-Air France, is looking to start a high speed rail service... planes are going down with the fuel , trains can be run on any kind of energy |
ISIS, wait until it drops below $15. Sell at $18. Its been a perfect channeling stock.

could be , but KLM Air France is going to do it
and it makes sense i can get faster to Marseille from here, by train then by plane as costs for fuel go up the investments in train will see an increased ROI there are less penalties for surplus weight via trains they are less affected by particular fuel shortages ( you can make electricity from various fuels) easier to operate, etc etc etc all that's holding em back now, is aged infrastructure... air travel was to cheap and competitive to warrant the costs, but all that will change, hell, it IS changing right under our noses... Europe has a lead , with existing railroads, but they need to interlink, Belgium France Holland and UK are partially linked, but Germany isn't, nor is the rest of Europe... US has immense potential, because of scale, and let's face it, it's not really more difficult to lay down new HST tracks, then to convert old slow speed tracks, you still gotta do the same work, the only thing you don't do with existing, is acquiring the land... but the US has the advantage of scale, and it's one single nation, vs the scattered ones in the EU... i'm telling you, HST, in the long run, can't loose with that |
How about buying up some UAL (United Airlines). Nice and cheap after this screw up.
