Everyone in America is only interested in one PAC10 game this week.

What it means is that BYU probably could beat TN, and the Terps can beat most anyone in the big 10.

Blake Ayers, the true freshman that just caught that TD played at Orange Lutheran last year (my adopted high school team). I've been watching him for a couple years now, he's destined for big, big things. There are 3 players on USC from O Lu.

Aaron Corp is in at QB now for USC, another freshman from Orange Lutheran.
He probably the 2nd or 3rd fastest player on the field right now, he could keep up with OSU's young QB easily. So how many people are sick of Brett Musburger's kissing USC's butt? He is laying it on pretty thick. |

Congrats on a good win. I've heard them say USC was still the best team in football while covering a USC loss. I cant say it doesn't annoy me.

Herbstreit said something to the effect that it looked like the varsity playing the junior varsity out there. A very nice compliment from a Buckeye.
Fight on.

It's still a long way to go til January. Lots of stuff could happen. I'll enjoy today just like I enjoyed the game, but there are a bunch of good teams out there that are just waiting to knock someone off the pedestal.
Last time I checked the football season was longer than 2 games

I was hoping they would shut up about it. It was getting old and USC's opponents back east or south or wherever don't need any more inspirational motivation. |

USC did look strong. But, I think they have a lot of room to improve. There is no doubt in my mind that they are deep with talent. It is just a matter of putting it all together and sustaining it over the season.
Ohio State was completely rattled during the 3rd Quarter. It was actually ugly for them. A number of teams stepped up this weekend. BYU, Missouri, and South Carolina {who came within a breath of upsetting Georgia}. Next week Arizona State/Georgia should be great. Mike |

Oregon beat Purdue - that's what REALLY counts. It was a hard fought and exciting game.
I don't really care what happens to the University of Spoiled Children and their money-machine pro-team. IF they want to join the NFL that's fine. They don't belong in college ball -- unless they first start themselves a college... |
