Posting Pics Question

I just posted a series on my Rudge Whitworth and the posted quality is not that good. Question? Will I get better posted images that are scanned or pics if I shoot/scan at a lower resolution versus starting with a higher resolution and resizing to lower the image to under 2 MB.

This BB will resize/recompress an image that is over 100K. Try to make sure that the image up upload, is about 96K or less - assuming you can get the image to be clear. it should be. Also make sure to resize the image to at least 800x600 - landscape.

EDIT: I just noticed that all the pics are portrait. The BB likes to resize portrait image to 640xXXX. Messes with some of the pix I upload as well.

You need the images to be no more than 800 pixels wide (regardless of height I think) and a file size no more than 97.65K, otherwise the forum software will resize and ruin the quality. If you can't get a good image to that size, host it somewhere like photobucket and it can be bigger without getting resized. 72 dpi is all you need.
