Played paintball yesterday

We took a group of 25 people, mostly from church, and a coworker and his 2 sons to play paintball at a local outdoor paintball facility. We all had a great time and the weather was perfect, dry and crisp! My son and I haven't played paintball in a few years and our Tippmann paintball guns did not let us down! We played from 10am -1pm and I'm very sore today!! Nobody got hurt, everyone followed the rules and I can see there will be a group that will want to do this again.

The cost is the only downside, as it costs $15 for the entry fee, $15 for rental gear and paint is $35 for 2000 paintballs and air refills are free. Depending upon how much paint you shoot, it can be expensive. My son and I have our own paintball guns and JT masks/face shields and they are great, no fogging-up and they really do protect your face/neck. Good exercise and a lot of fun!!

Bell,
The key is to wear layers of protective clothing and make sure everyone's paintball gun is set properly (less than 300). Almost everyone had rental guns except us and a friend, so we had more accurate barrels and could shoot at the others from a greater distance.

That is my worst wound. The group I go with promptly readjusted our guns after that happened. We all have our own gear and some of us have extra gear so we go get CO2 tanks filled and go find a wooded area and go for it. You can buy your own balls at walmart of academy for < 30 last time i checked

You guys must play wrong, the object is not to get shot, but to shoot other people

I haven't played in a while, lots of fun

I haven't played in two years. Prior to buying a Porsche, I was a hardcore paintball junkie.

I still have my Bushmaster and my Autococker with compressed air systems for each.

I'm sore today, but no bruises. I wore protective clothing, backwards baseball cap to protect neck and gloves.

layers is helpful for that sort of thing. Army surplus BDU with turtleneck under it in the apropriate camo pattern, thank you very much. Bought it for a rafting trip to AK, happened to have it for paintball. It was fun, a lot of fun

I took a shot in the neck like that. Man did that hurt! After that I started wearing my hockey goalie neck guard when I played.

I usually wear a scarf to protect my neck, besides it's usually cold when we play.

I once played with three broken ribs not quite back to 100%. I wore a water-ski life vest under my cammo as my version of kevlar. Worked great.

Lotsa fun.
