So my buddy wakes up at 3a.m. to the sound of his bmw alarm going off, and sees a dreadlocked dude running from his property. The guy had slashed all four of my buddy ,Todds bmw tires, and slashed all four tires of Tods girlfreinds car. He also kicked out both tail lights of the BMW. Todd knows exactly who it is, as Todd , and Crazy dreadlock Jeff, ( the tire slashing bandit ) have been having an all out fued over a girl. Todd used to date her, Jeff was for a while, but now she is back with todd. Any how, todd goes to call the police, and finds like twenty text messages from Jeff stating things like" they are going to find both of your bodies in the river tomorrow morning". I dont know the Jeff guy to well, but I know he is bad news. ( got arrested for pulling a gun, and shot right over past gf's head) Any how, I am worried. I kind want Tod to crash at my place for a while, unitll the cops have Jeff. These guys are kind of colorful fellows. Todd is still a dead head, (40 years old) and is completely non violent. A one love kind of hippy guy. He has hair down to his arse, and still looks like a leftover from the 60's, even my Girlfriend has taken a liking to him, and we take him on family vacations every year, Good guy. I just dont want to have to identify his body in the morning. I offered to let Tod borrow a gun for the next couple of days, but like I said, he is a nonviolent, and doesnt like guns. One good thing, He does have a Pit Bull though. I am going to run over in the am, and trailer his car back to the shop, and put some tires on to get him going for now. But, maybe I will cruise by his place tonight a couple of times just to make sure things are cool. Wow, A little drama right before Thanksgiving Just thought I would share that . Any thing else I should do ?? I know the Police are involved, but in these days, one can never be too safe.

Make sure he presses charges for the damages... unless he is afraid of retaliation...

Don't loan out a gun you aren't willing to lose or get sued over. Don't help Todd until he's pressed charges AND filed a civil suit and is serious about putting the other behind bars.

Actually , smart advice on loaning out the gun. I will help Todd in any way I can , but I sure do not need any legal entanglements, Or danger to my familly. I am quite sure he will press charges. He mentioned a pfa as well. It is funny getting old. We are all civilized now, and try to play by the rules. My advice to Todd, was to lay low, and dont do anything stupid, retalliation etc.... As satasfying as that would be, it would only complicate matters .

You offered him a gun? Brilliant! Why not set him up with some explosives too?

For god sake don't loan anyone a gun. Great way to end up in jail yourself, and to lose you life savings when the 'dirty hippies' relatives file a wrongful death lawsuit against you.

Hey . sorry for my english, I left high school 20 years ago. and spin a wrench for a living. So my grammar skills may be lacking. far as loaning a gun. I know , bad idea, but these types of situations dont often arise in my life. Just want to make sure He is O.K. He declined any way. Now explosives, hmmmm? ( a joke)

Okay so dread-lock dude was stupid enough to TEXT a death threat? Repeatedly? AFTER slashing tires.

Um...okay....dumbass... Now you get to talk to the police and then Todd + girlfriend get a nice broad restraining order. I know, I know, restraining orders won't stop bullets, but they can make dread-lock dude take repeated trips to jail everytime he gets within sight.

If he has priors, he goes to jail even faster.

Thats why I thought of a gun, because it is about the only thing that is going to save you when someone smashes through your window at 3 am with deadly intent.
I know , I cant believe he was dumb enough to text death threats. Hippy #2 is just an all around dead beat, hard drinker, fighter etc.. Todd on the other hand is a stand up guy. Hopefully , the law will take care of this situation.

Is this girl really worth it ? There are very few people out there worth your life and this gal (bouncing between them) just doesn't strike me as worth it.

I'd lock up the house tight, and get a couple can's of mace if he isn't into the violence thing. Maybe a nice tazer also.

If he shows, mace him and then tazer him. Or the other way around. Hit him with the tazer twice to make sure you got him good.

Not being there, and letting the Police deal with this would be the best way. You know he is a psycho. Keep away. He has already hung himself. Have the peace-nik stay with you so there is no confrontation.

you gotta get into the hippie mindset,
first you go online, look for "lsd blotter art" on ebay

buy a full sheet

now find out where the bugger lives
and find out the nearest active railway (like one train every half hour, at the minimum)

now lay a trail of lsd blotters from his front door to the railway
and then keep laying the blotters every 4-5 yards on the track
ring his door bell
