Straight from the cow please.

jyl 12-07-2008 07:25 PM

Whole. Don't drink much milk, would like to enjoy it. Buy organic when possible.

Whole but I'll drink any of them.

Schumi 12-07-2008 07:56 PM

2% . 1% is too watery for me. Never really tried whole.

Pazuzu 12-07-2008 08:23 PM

0%, milk is poisonous. :p

That stuff reminds me of what I get when I wash a brush with white wall paint in water.

That said, I use 0% for cooking. I never drink milk straight up. In my morning coffee it is 1% or more organic. Black coffee / no milk the rest of the day.

2%.

Only time I consume milk is when I have cereal. Other than that I skeeve milk!

idontknow 12-07-2008 11:08 PM

Whole milk here.

Bill Douglas 12-07-2008 11:13 PM

3% and it's organic milk.

I only drink it when it's in lattes and the 3% stuff seems to work best for me.

Or you could buy that chinese melamine flavoured milk.

livi 12-08-2008 12:24 AM

0.5%.

Anything higher than that tastes like cream. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...ys/a_pukey.gif

Bill that is an interesting fact, here in the USA we don't have 3%, only

Skim - 0%
1%
2%
Whole Milk 4%
Half and Half 17%
Heavy Cream 34%

These are all USDA definitions, I happen to know them because they are necessary when computing the final milkfat percentage when you make your own ice cream.

Is Australian milk preserved with the UHT process, e.g. does it require refrigeration or no?

Rot 911 12-08-2008 05:55 AM

Managed to get down to 1%. .5% or skim just tastes like nasty water to me.
