The thing I hate most about it is all the advertising. Too much. 2nd only the Panorama in terms of the ads to meaty article ratio.

Just my $0.42,

This is a common complaint, but having contributed to several magazines over the past few years, I have learned that there is a fairly consistant ratio between ads and editorial content. Every page of advertising enables the publisher to allocate additional pages of editorial. Excellence is no different. Basic economics. Not sure of what that ratio is, but in general terms if Excellence had 50% fewer ad's, they would probably have 50% fewer stories. Would that be an improvement? ;)

It is because of the ads that Excellence can give you five, six and even seven page features on each car, with detailed photos...all in color. All those ad's mean that when you subscribe, you can be confident that the magazine will not go tits up in a few months...keeping your money (has happened to me twice in the past few years).

Oh, and thanks for the kind words regarding the 766 mile "S" SmileWavy

Over the years, I have found that Grassroots Motorsports is more to my liking. While it isn't all P-car content, there is plenty of Porsche related articles as well as stuff on DE, Club racing, autocross...etc.
