i used to despise cats...never understood them.

but my wife came with a cat. that dorky thing has changed my tune. she isnt "in my face", and she is barely friendly...but we have reached an understanding. i love that furball. she prefers to sleep on me, because i move less.

good luck POP.

Another OESD owner here. I lost my second one to a vaccine reaction. Immune mediated thrombocytopenia. Once past 16 months of age never give any vaccines except the 3 year rabies shot only because mandated by law. IMT is a terrible death.

Interesting post. Can you provide some documentation? I'd follow your advice it it was solid.

She looks like a good friend and a bit of a monster (the good kind).

Thoughts and prayers said, Jeff.

Jeff -

Agree with you completely on pets being family. Wish the best for Bonnie and you.

How much documentation do you want, I spent 6 years and multi 10s of thousands of dollars in litigation with the AMVA and caused a major policy change where they (the AMVA insurance company) no longer cover vets for fraudulent unnecessary vaccinations. Do a search on my previous postings or send me a pm. I made several enemies of vets on this board because of this and can tell you all vets hate me. The average vet makes approximately $350,000 a year from unnecessary vaccines. Research Drs, Dodd, Bob Rogers or Schultz. I only got one polio vaccine, how many did you get?

Dr. Dogface and I had a long drawnout discussion on this board and he hates me for what it is worth. Do a search.

I think you took my question as an aggressive one. It wasn't if you read it objectively. Chill a bit.

I was simply looking for some outside info to back up your theory. Science kinda works that way.

Hey we are fine. It is just a passionate issue for me. I have been sick the last week so I haven't been feeling well and may have come off wrong. I had to watch my dog die a horrible death and had my vet at the time misdiagnose the problem 3 times and each time his treatment made my dog sicker. Ultimately all his internal organs failed and he bled to death internally. The litigation generated a stack of paperwork about 2 feet tall. There are a lot of things your vet will not tell you. My 7 year old sheepdog was being given the Coronavirus vaccine even though it is a disease only of puppies, in fact even when adult dogs are given shots to infect them they don't get sick. I could ramble on forever but the long and the short of it is that after a proper regiment of vaccines after 16 months none are necessary thereafter and in fact do no good. I would send you lots of info but I lost all my bookmarks when my computer crashed and my litigation ended several years ago. The 3 Drs names I lister before are the leading edge researchers. Also be advised that sheepdogs are predisposed to immune reactions from vaccines.

Small animal vet salaries average well under 100k/year nationwide

Mojo for your cat, P-O-P... I was a dog guy all of my life (quite into dogsled racing at one point) but have had two cats for about 3 years now, they're definitely my buddies.
