Eagles choke again...
 

Actually a good game towards the end. A great comeback, but just not enough.. Once again, the bridesmaid and never the bride...

Great game Cards. Congrats to the fans.

The Eagles just dropped too many passes(2 in the last drive alone- both for easy first downs), and the Defense just came up very small, Mickell dropping an Int for the 4th time this post season was the closest the Eagles came to a turnover.

I guess people will call McNabb a choke, but it's hard to win when your defense gives up 32 and your receivers drop over 100 yards worth of passes. The eagles had Arizona with a 4th and 1 at midfield, up 1, with 4:30 left. Had they made the stop, the Eagles probably win. So if there's a choke, it's the Defense which just did not play well.

Good luck to the Cards in the SB, i'll be rooting for them, they are a very likable team. Their defense is very suspect though, McNabb and Co. ate it up pretty good today. They'll need to seriously tighten that down to win the Lombardi trophy.

At any rate, i'd hardly call a hard fought road playoff loss a choke.

Yeah, that wasn't really a choke - it was almost Arizona's choke after a fantastic, dominating first half.

Arizona did what they had to to win, Philly didn't. That's what championship teams do. End of story.

Philly only had a few big plays.

Good game. Glad for the Cardinals coaching staff, (half are ex Steelers), and Warner. Yeah McNabb will get crucified in the Philly press but Snipers right, the Eagles D didn't show up. To give Fitzgerald 3 TD's in the 1st half if nuts.

The eagles have nothing to be ashamed of. they played their hearts out, the cards just beat them offensively.
They won't get past the steelers tho.
offense gets you to the Superbowl, defense wins it.

Disappointing finish..... 2mns left...... w/ the ball..... disappointing..... Warner got it done; McNabb didn't.

All that being said if Kevin Curtiss doesnt drop the fourth down pass right in his hands the Eagles might still have won. And Akers costing the Eagles 4 points in missed kicks. Not good.

BTW, the Eagles had 6 plays over 20 yards, 2 over 40, and one over 70.

McNabb dropped the pass or Kevin Curtiss did? McNabb had 375 passing yards and 3 TDs, he can't force the reciever to not drop a pass RIGHT in his hands.

McNabb played very well (perfect QB rating of 158.3 in 4th Quarter of this year's playoff run), the defense cost the Eagles in this game, they were atrocious.

Frankly, i would not place one ounce of blame on McNabb for this one.

I agree....the Cards gave up well over 400yds of total offense to the Eagles. They do that vs the Steelers and they're going to get crushed.

I really cannot believe how horrible the Eagles D played today.

Let's be clear, I hate Philadelphia. There is nothing about Philadelphia I like. When forced to go there for business I get in and out as quickly as possible. I never go there for pleasure, ever. The fact that my Giants were beaten by the Eagles is killin' me!

But that was no choke. The comeback they staged in the 2nd half was stunning. No they didn't get it done, yes they made mistakes and I still think McNabb is a douche but he did everything he could.
