You know what whining got for the Seahawks? Their coach fired and a losing season not even making the playoffs 3 years later. The better team one and being in the big game again further vindicates it. The Seahawks? Just a fluke. Sometimes you need to let go and move on. ( Might be hard since the NFL Network has been playing SuperBowl XL all week.)

If the Steelers don't turn the ball over, the Cards defense isn't strong enough to win the game. Warner will put up points, but without the turnovers, he won't put up points against the Pittsburgh defense as quickly as the Cardinal defense will surrender them to the Steeler offense. If the Cards quickly build a big lead and force the Steelers to run a one-dimensional passing offense, they'll get the turnovers they need to win the game. But if the Steelers can run a balanced offense all game, they'll get #6.

Since I have no money on it, I'm rooting for the underdog Cards!

Nix six, go Cards!! I hate the AFC. The last Pittsburgh Super Bowl win shouldn't even count. They were playing another AFC team for christ sake.

My apologies to the Seattle fans, but the Seabags will always be an AFC team.

Check your history.

Seahawks started out as an NFC team then were switched to the AFC in season two.

So in fact they were not always an AFC team.

Edit: Go Cards! (they're doomed)

Troy Polamalu is a class act from the start. He's quiet, polite, soft spoken, but when he gets on the field he plays harder than anyone.
I don't care for the long hair either but it's a cultural thing, not enough to call him a freak over.

BTW, in a couple of years there will be two ex-USC linebackers in the NFL with long hair and both will be outstanding.

I should have added to that comment. He's a long haired freak of nature. Nobody is supposed to play his position as good as he does, especially if they play in Pittsburgh. I kind of liked him until you posted a picture of his college days. Now I don't think I can stand him.

LOL, I get it. He is kind of a freak in that he doesn't play football like a human being

I've always like him all the way back to college. I wish more pro athletes were as polite and humble as he is.

The Cardinals Adrian Wilson is at least as good a safety as Troy Polomalu, he just doesn't get the press.

He doesn't have as many tackles, sacks, or interceptions as Troy but I agree he is as good in pass coverage.

He's best down stopping the run, he is a very big boy for a safety. He's been doing it for years too. Very good player.

There's no reason that this thread should have faded to page two. TTT!! I hope the steelers bus takes a wrong exit, and we don't get to see the massacre that the Cardiac Cards are going to unload.

I thought the Eagles defense, ranked #1 in the NFC and #3 in the NFL would shut the cards down as they did in the regular season. It didn't happen.

If the Steelers D plays as badly as the Eagles D did...then the Cards could definitely win. That being said, i was not impressed with the Cards D much either. The Eagles put up over 450 total yards on them and damn near came back to win at the end.

This is a really hard game to call. It will depend which team shows up. In a well played game by both sides i favor Pittsburgh.

Stillers 27 - Cards 17
I won't be totally crushed if the Cards win though. Not like if they'd gotten beat by Baltimore. Not to much mention of playing the toughest schedule since the mid 70's and still a 14-4 record. They've been through the wars and conquered. This is just another test.

Spoken like a true Cowboy fan. I'd be saying the same stuff if the 'Boys were in it. But of course they aren't. Why you ask? Because the owner is a meddling, pompous, arrogant business man that thinks he knows all. A word of advice Jerry... Ask Dan and Art Jr. if you can join the Steelers as an intern. Learn the trade, look up the word character in Websters. One more thing Jerry... The other 30 or so teams are really glad you enjoy getting all the attention. They're glad you like chaos. It shows in the product you put on the field.

GO STILLERS!!!!!!

It's pretty hard to be a Clownboy fan right now. You guys have my arse in a sling next season too. The team and the situation isn't going to be any better until Wade is adios, and Jerry quits being a puppeteer. I'm pissed Shannahan isn't the coach right now. JJ= Al Davis, Jr. It's downright pathetic.

The Cards are going to win this one.
