Gatotom, Sorry to hear you lost your buddy. I'm not looking forward to losing mine either. Hang in there.

Danimal16 05-15-2009 05:14 PM

Gototom,

It hurts alot but in time the pain is completely replaced by the joy of having been part of his life.

Sorry for your loss.

It's a good thing our pets bring us so much devotion, love, and happiness. Otherwise, it would be a struggle to rationalize adopting one knowing they don't live very long. Good-bye always seems just around the corner, but it's so worth it.

Remember the good times!
RIP Cedar

I love the fact that you took your boy on a boat ride (sniffle). He was a beautiful boy.

My dog Nat from many years ago. He's a black Labradog but has gone a bit grey around the wiskers.

Great shot, Bill. One of those photos that ya can't help but smile at.

Thanks Terry. Nat and his best mate Ben (another black lab) lived on a farm with my Mom - bygone days, but very happy days. The dogs loved it, "helping" my Mom.

Some really good pictures on here! I don't think I can compete with picture quality, but I think my dog can hold her own in the looks department.

Here's my buddy Marley. She had that name well before the book came out. She NEVER leaves my side. If neighbors see me outside without her they always ask where she is.

Posing for my girlfriend while she tests out the new camera:

Standing ON about a foot of snow (she only weighs about 30lbs):

She's actually laying in this same position right next to me as I type this:

I wish I could just stop her from aging now. I hate to think I only have about 10 more years with her. She's about 6 now.

Wow, I just checked out every picture in the whole thread. I really miss having a dog. I live in an apartment that is smaller than a dog house! I will have to wait.
Although I did film this random puppy on the street a few weeks ago. Its good for a laugh.
