L O L @ "It has frontend damage."

Ah, Minnesota. The land of the $8.00 car. It's all I can do not to reply to that ad and ask him where the "Targa" for sale pictures are.

HardDrive 03-31-2009 10:03 AM

LOL!

If he wants to pay me $35, I'll haul it off his property for him.

You need to ask this over at the Early S Registry Boards.

I believe they will confirm its worth $55,000 to $60,000 as it sits, and closer to $70,000 if the numbers match.

All day long.

Shaun @ Tru6 03-31-2009 04:10 PM

I saw that car ages ago. Not even I would buy it. and with the E in process, I'm actually trying to divest the 72. Just no time...

Hmmm...is that "velvet green" on the T shirt car???

Shaun @ Tru6 03-31-2009 06:01 PM

it's more Turkish Green, another 69 special color. they are very similar, but Turkish green has more blue in it than Velvet Green, which is just a VW color.

speeder 03-31-2009 06:20 PM

Are you selling those shirts?

Shaun @ Tru6 03-31-2009 06:30 PM

Yes, that's a men's large. I need to get Scott's permission at Pelican Parts first though. Also going to complete the car on the right (facing) side. The idea was to have the art butt up against the side seam, but it's not going to work out as planned.

Zeke 03-31-2009 06:47 PM

A car with an engine and trans is gonna sell for near that and I'll tell you why. First, look at this pic of a car FS near me (in the classifieds).

All it needs is a donor car. These go together like beer and pretzels.
