I saw my first public mask wearers today at Toronto airport exiting Canada Customs. A family of 5 Asians - although they might just be used to wearing them at home.
So I was wondering . . . are air passengers going to get screwball sitting next to anybody who has the misfortune to have a cold? I flew home from Vegas with one last Friday. I was fine on the ground but Niagara once in the air. For 4 hours. I felt sorry for my seatmates because I know it sucks to have to sit in such a confined space with a serious cold sufferer - btdt many times. Ian

I flipped off the local burrito place and left a nasty facebook message for a friend of allegedly mexican extract.
Actually, I'm the marketing manager for a catalog business that happens to sell N95 approved disposable respirators. I can tell you that we sold more of them in the last 2 days than all of 2008. Make of that what you will.

oh - BTW - mask alone not much help
many many viruses are transferred when you touch something that is contaminated (e.g. doorknob) then inadvertently rub your eyes. I suggest using a full body condom. |

I knew a guy who no matter how long it took, would not touch the doorknob of a bathroom door that opened in. He'd wait until someone came in so he could dash out without touching anything.
The guy also never touched bathroom doors that swung out; he'd put his foot to the door and pushed it out in that fashion.
