45th, yup moved to Montana (montuky) in her early 20's from Southern California.
Her ancestors are southern Italian, there's a high percentage of MS from that region.

Tabbydoll, late as usual. Waiting for the dealer to call right now...for the new Mustang. I'll be able to drive this one, thumbing my nose as the Oregon lefties in their Prius mobiles, me emitting hydrocarbon along with the sounds of the tuned exhaust of the Bullitt model. I laughed when I read that Ford listened to the movie soundtrack in order to get the exhaust tone "just right" on this one. I'm guessing that the original movie car was simply running a pair of glasspaks...

this will give you a good idea on how my old beast sounded. DO NOT BLAME ME FOR THE MUSIC. I'm the guy with the balding head and glasses Rich who now owns the car, put the music on the vid.

damn. That sounds sweet. Calvin just walked by and said, "you should get a car that sounds like that..."
I'm afraid the Subie can't quite pull that off. Paul, pics required of the new ride. |

Jim, That sounds great! The V-10 Ram was only okay. Your Mustang? Excellent!
I hope the Bullitt exhaust sounds half that good. Obviously headers, but what was behind those? Pics? I'll see what I can do...maybe a neighbor has a digital camera, knows how to use it...

this is Rich driving. I do have footage of my driving and of my Dad driving as well. I was watching my car lapping on tape and thought damn, I'm slow but then I looked at the helmet and realized that it was my Dad being "nice to it.

Jim...just watched the video...I almost felt sorry for the guy in the kit car Cobra who gave you a point by.
![]() Ed...I'm 6'3"...fit in a Bullitt Mustang just fine. Only driving I've done so far is from the dealership to home. Need to figure out all the buttons, bells & switches by spending time with the owner's manual. No spare tire! Ack! Think I'll see if I can rig something up. 18" wheels on the Bullitt, the spare tire well made for 17", so all I got stock was an air bottle sealer and a plug in pump. I figure a breaker bar, a scissors jack, a steel wheel of some sort should work. Something else to research. Maybe a spare & jack from a wrecked Mustang? Even if the wrong rolling radius, I could run it on the front, keep the rear tires the same to avoid hurting the limited slip. IF it clears the brakes, that is...like I said, research. Other impressions...the 5 speed shifter is top notch. Very easy gear changes, short throw. Clutch is light & easy. Pedals offset a smidgen to the left in relation to the seat, but easy to get used to. Light steering, but with good feel. Very easy to drive compared to the old P-car. Twisties I haven't really tried yet, but Motor Trend rated the GT 'Stang at .95 on a skidpad. The Bullitt's bigger tires & wheels may improve that a shade. I doubt my driving will test that limit. Another part of the Bullitt Package is leather sports seats. I like 'em. Good side support, but a comfortable seat, one I wouldn't mind sitting in over a 500 mile long haul. It takes seat time for me to begin to get smooth and enjoy a car. I do believe the seat time in this one is going to be fun. Fun without the paranoia that driving an unrestored original '72S had as a penalty of ownership.

I'm going to have to find somebody who knows how to use a digital camera...I don't have a clue how to use the one we were gifted. Sorry...but have to admit, it's nice to have a green car in the garage again.

I'm sure it has no spare to save weight and increase performance. |

Yeah, I do have "roadside assistance"...but still, I just feel weird, running around with no spare..

You're probably the only Bullit mustang owner in America looking to add weight to his Stang though. Congrats man, i hope it's all you've dreamt of. |

.....aaaahhhhhhhh Detroit! Is it any wonder we're bailing them out? I mean how difficult could it be to make the spare tire well one inch larger????

Thanks Jeff...if you make it up North, you have a test drive coming...but beware. It's quicker than a 2.4 911S...

ooooh....tempting...likewise, if you make it South, you can test drive the 500hp truck, but probably only in a straight line
