Tragic, Tyson

I feel for the man.

Hope it does not raise new demons for him.

Terrible story. Hate to hear about something like that happening to anyone - however in some way I can't help but think the world is a wee bit better off without his genetics being passed onto another generation if ya know what I mean...

Tobra 05-26-2009 09:06 PM

that is tragic, and it will mess with his head, how could it possibly not do so

i agree with the not passing on tyson genetics but its a horrible thing for anyone to lose there child. i feel bad for him but cant help but think of karma . but like i said it is a tradegy for anyone to lose a child and it's a horrible thing when any child dies. i wouldn't wish that burden on anyone

tyson already had PLENTY of demons before this

vash 05-27-2009 07:06 AM

maybe this little kid is the best thing tyson ever pulled off. it certainly would have meant the most to him in the long run. those 40 second knock outs...petty.

sad story. kid deserved a shot, despite the sperm donor.

onewhippedpuppy 05-27-2009 07:24 AM

I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

URY914 05-27-2009 07:31 AM

Did he live with the mother?

mpeastend 05-27-2009 08:08 AM

Wonder what the little old ladies that he used to knock out for their church money would think about this? He had a troubled youth in Brownsville, being arrested 38 times just by age 13. At some point the excuses of no father, mother who died when he was 16, poor choices in mentors, etc., just can't cover his chronic poor & anti-social behavior. Sometimes an A-hole is just an A-hole.

targa911S 05-27-2009 08:25 AM

Just plain sad for everyone involve. I can't imagine losing a child.

The Mother did CPR on the girl after she was found, so assume that they did live together.

Mike was in Vegas when it happened and flew right back home to find this.

Really sad situation...

So does this mean the death of a little 4 year old girl is somehow justified?? Help me understand what you mean! Ok so the guys a jerk...so what!

I am a bit ashamed by some of these comments.

As a parent who lost a child, we just DO NOT GET OVER IT.

+1, my granddad said a parent's worst nightmare is to outlive their own children. he deteriorated quickly as a sad old man when my dad died.

You think that the little old ladies would be happy that a 4 year-old girl died? You're a real classy guy. I mean a punk. Yes, a punk.

berettafan 05-27-2009 11:11 AM

So many dangers out there for little ones. I got no problem being called a 'helicopter dad'. You just can't be too careful.

Hey Peppy god bless you man. I just can't imagine.

The new documentary about MT is being well reviewed, but I have not seen it. He may not be the brightest guy in the world - but he has lived long enough to gain some kind of insight. This situation is just tragic.

A friend was talking about him over the weekend, and knew him from Catskill High School where Gus Damato had his gym. Said he was a nice enough kid and was glad to be paroled into the care of his trainers. Said when he made it big, MT would come back and treated Catskill like his "home town".

When Damato died and Don King and the money took over, it was just a matter of time before things unraveled.

wow, i thought i was cold.
there are many out there that dont need to reproduce, but...

tyson, he could have been the best fighter of all times. when his trainer died, he lost any sort of father figure he ever had. that man kept him under control. tyson would be a different person today if he was still alive.
everyone just wanted a cut of his money. he was too young to deal with the power and the money. who is gonna tell a man like that no.
