Weekend Fly-In
A few shots from this week-end's fly-in at my hometown airport. The Electra Jr. was the crowd favorite. My dad actually learned to fly (in the early '40s) in one of the Cubs that was present at the show.

That looks like a lot of fun.

Pretty sure I have met the guy with the Gull Wing Stinson. I think he used to live up north for a bit. If that is the same plane, it is nice to see he finally painted his cowl to match. For a couple of years he flew it with a blue and white cowl replacement from another Stinson.

I was on Lanier Saturday afternoon and saw three older prop planes flying in formation over the lake. I was wondering if there was a local event somewhere....
