I've been trying to find a place to get good, fitted, thin black shirts for years now.

No Avail.

Agave jeans... Pricey, but they last and last. Get "The Waterman" for a relaxed fit...

Classic styles live on for a very long time, they are not the "in" thing of the moment. Quality never goes out of style. Style does not depend on money, just good taste. Quality depends on knowledge, not money. SmileWavy

100% correct Sir.

You might try Duluth Trading for some jeans. Very heavy and very well made. I have been happy with everything I have gotten from them.

I'll second the notion that for suits, sportcoats, nice slacks and dress shirts you ought to try custom tailoring. Better materials, better workmanship and the fit is obviously much better. Plus, you can have the little details your way. I often get my pants made without rear pockets, as I never use them. My shirt cuffs are slightly larger on the left side to accomodate a watch. I have cell phone pockets put into jackets.... you get the idea.

For shoes, I'd recommend the Italian made Johnston Murphy's, or Bruno Magli. They can be as comfortable as a custom shoe and much cheaper. I have some that are nearing 30 years old.

A good tailor will always ask on which side you wear your Johnson, and allow a little extra fabric there.

My pants aren't that tight. The 70's are over.....
