Well gents I'm on my 2nd wind for the night... checked out a new duplex today in the middle of suburbia land, pulling the trigger on it ASAP so I can move out of my hell hole of a house. Time to get celebratory booze..

I feel like we are bonding on a whole 'nother level here.

I'm now in Tromsø, several hundred miles NORTH of the arctic circle. They call it the "Paris of the North" but I'm not sure why. its 10:30 and the sun has made no attempt whatsoever to come up and it probably wont bother. Tonight I fly "south" to Bodø, still sell inside the arctic circle.

There is a reason the sun doesn't come out up there, because people should not live that close to nowhere.

You'd be surprised. I think there are 30,000 people in this town. oddly enough, there are lots of people in this country who travel south to get here. it's another 1000km to the northern reaches of Norway - and there are people living there too! its all about fishing and more recently oil.

btw the sun shines 24hrs a day here in the summer, so they get their revenge.
